Todo mundo já viu "Alta Fidelidade", o filme. John Cusack é tudo de bom, mas tenho que admitir que o livro -- que comecei a ler há dois dias -- é muuuito melhor. Recomendo.

Alguns trechos simplesmente geniais:
* "The perfect match, if you ask me, is between the Cosmo woman and the fourteen-year-old boy".
* "I lost the plot for a while then [depois de levar um pé na bunda]. And I lost the subplot, the script, the soundtrack, the intermission, my popcorn, the credits and the exit sign".
* "People worry about kids playing with guns, and teenagers watching violent videos; we are scared that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands -- literally thousands -- of songs about broken hearts and rejection and pain and misery and loss. The unhappiest people I know, romantically speaking, are the ones who like pop music the most".
